Friends of the Zoo is an annual membership to your Zoo. Benefits include:
- unlimited daytime entry to Auckland Zoo 364 days a year (9.30am to 5pm / 5.30pm, last entry 4.15pm)
- free subscription to the Zoo's official magazine Zoo Alive
- Exclusive 'FOTZ' draws to take part in free Safari Night and Zoom experiences, and other great exclusive offers!
- 20 per cent discounted entry to all Zoo evening events (as per membership type)
- 15 per cent discount on any Zoom tours and Safari Nights

New Friends of the Zoo membership benefits
If you bring your friends who aren't
FOTZ members along to the Zoo with you, they will get 20 per cent
off their Zoo admission (offer valid until 31 December 2012).
Simply show your FOTZ pass at the cashiers and your friends will receive their discount. This new membership benefit applies to standard adult and/or child Zoo admission prices only. It can't be used with student, senior and family passes, or in conjunction with any other offer.

Gift memberships
A Friends of the Zoo annual membership makes a great gift for family, friends and loved ones!
If you would like to purchase a gift membership for any of the FOTZ options, simply complete the online application form or phone the Auckland Zoo Information Centre on +64 9 360 3805, and a gift certificate will be sent out to you or the recipient.
Conditions
- Membership privileges are available only on presentation of a current membership pass.
- Only those named and photographed on the pass are able to use their membership to gain free Auckland Zoo entry and discounts at Auckland Zoo and other approved places (excludes Flexi adult guest passes).
- Your membership pass is non-refundable and non-transferable (except Flexi adult guest passes).
- A Friends of the Zoo pass cannot be used in conjunction with Auckland Zoo Education (Discovery and Learning Centre) visits.
- To become an individual member you must be over 15.
- Friends of the Zoo passes are not valid for admission after 4.15pm or for evening events or private functions.
- Adults: 15 years+. Children: 4-14 years. Seniors: 65+years
- Other than free admission, FOTZ membership benefits are subject to periodic review and adjustment at the discretion of Auckland Zoo.
- Discount to Kelly Tarlton's applies only to Adult or Child admission.
- Standard Auckland Zoo Terms and Conditions of entry apply.
NOTE: All memberships require a photo ID - we will take a photo of you and/or your family when you next come into the Zoo.
