Pridelands
Enjoy a
mini safari as you expore the Zoo's Pridelands area - a place
where you can immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of
Africa.
Journey along the Pridelands boardwalk to see our
herd of giraffe happily co-existing with zebra and ostrich - and
just alongside them, southern white rhinoceros (the world's
third largest land animal) and springbok.
Just past the authentic Zulu huts, you'll find the
kings of the savannah, the lions - observing you from their
look-out, Lion Hill. The Lion Shelter with its large glass
viewing window, or the main boardwalk path, are both great vantage
points to view our pride of five lions.
