Photography workshops / classes

Spend a day learning and working with the experts, Zoo photographers, Graham Meadows and Claire Vial in the unique environment of Auckland Zoo.

Wet_Paws_taken_by Bernard TrevorLearn how to use your digital camera like a pro - understand its settings and what you need to compose a professional looking photograph.

Take it a step further and attend the Photoshop Elements workshop, where you will learn how to use this photo-editing software to create extraordinary photos.

You'll have the opportunity to practice what you've learned out in the Zoo with Graham and Claire on hand to give you tips.  With so many great photographic opportunities and challenges at the Zoo, you'll have plenty of pictures and new skills to take home!

Photography workshops are scheduled monthly (subject to availability), take place at the NZCCM lecture theatre and include time to photograph around the zoo grounds.  You must provide your own digital camera and accessories.  See below for full details.
